Kimberly A. Amentt, CMT
My interest in massage began after an accident I had which made it difficult for me to walk properly. Since the day when I had my first massage, I have been fascinated and fell in love with the power to heal by therapeutic massage. Not long after my first massage experience I began to develop an interest in starting my journey as a massage therapist.
I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a major in Recreational Therapy where I served patients with dual disabilities and worked in a hospital rehabilitation center.
I graduated from massage therapy school in 2000 from the Southeastern Institute in Charleston, SC. I have enjoyed praticing massage therapy since then. I became certified in Reflexology in 2002 and I am a certified Craniosacral Therapist from the Upledger Institute since 2005.
I am currently a certified Massage Therapist with the Virginia Nursing Board and am nationally certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork with the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork. I am a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
